New Member Monday - Tickets Please
Hey folks! Welcome back to Monday at the House of Paincakes! We've got a new member today as well as a brief reminder that you still have 4 hours (as of this posting) to vote in the most current round of HoP Idol II voting. Just over there on the right. Just.. yeah, there ya go. Click it!
The results show and some SUPER AMAZING SURPRISES should be up this the week as well. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but Dethtron's got a lot on his plate since we had to re-assign some of Von's HoP Animal Testing Center Duties. Cuddling all those puppies is hard work. Hopefully we can get Lantz through his orientation period in record time. I think we're held up on sexual harassment training (as in how-to) and figuring out which arm he wants his HoP employee bar code on.
New Member Monday
Keywords: New Wargames, Kickstarters, Warhammer 40K, my personal musings (and, rarely, some www.pinsofwar.net admin).

The Politically Incorrect Gamer, Part 3- It's Tradition
Hey folks. SinSynn here.
So has anybody else ever noticed that every 40k character ever invented lacks two things?
A spouse and children.
Now I understand that a cat like Gregor Eisenhorn doesn't really have time to set down roots, and there's probably not a Dark Eldar dude or dudette in Commorragh that can muster up the courage required to ask Lelith out for coffee. Or tea. Or whatever the heck it is that Dark Eldar drink.
But, whatevs, man. I mean, we all know that 40k characters are born via osmosis, or sumpthin,' right? Cuz in the grimdark future, there just ain't time for relationships, what with all the killin' and all.
